- The AHS registered this hosta in 1986 under the name Hosta 'Haku Chu Han'.
- The correct name should be listed as Hosta 'Shiro Kabitan'. Also known as 'Silver Kabitan'.
- No matter the name, this white-centered form of sieboldii forms a miniature mound perfect for the trough garden.
- Striped purple flowers in late summer.
