• A fertile hybrid between (Dryopteris affinis) (golden scaled male fern) and (Dryopteris filix-mas) (the male fern) it brings the glorious golden trimmed scaly fronds of its D. affinis parent to the spring garden.
• Once established it is also quite drought tolerant. Give this excellent specimen a wide space for admiration.
