• The shape and colors of the leaf make the clump look like a fire flame when emerging.

• When the heat of summer arrives the blushing stops and the leaves are yellow.
• The leaves do turn more medium green in summer but some bright morning sun will help hold the yellow longer.
• Pale purple flowers in late summer on red scapes.
