• Long wavy golden leaves have a thin green margin. 
• Leaves emerge bright gold with a wavy green margin.
• In summer the center of the leaf becomes more chartreuse especially when grown in a shady location.
• Excellent contrast and low growth make this hosta great for the front of the shade garden. 
• Can be slow to get established but makes a full dense clump when mature.
• Hosta 'First Mate' is an improved sport with better vigor if you are looking for the same look.
• Can handle some sun.
• Pale purple flowers appear in late summer.

Why Should I Grow It? Has attractive leaves but slow grower. I prefer H. 'First Mate'.
