Holar Deepest Purple Hosta

(Mature Size: 17"T x 35"W)

(NEW For 2027!)

• Long blue-green leaves are held on purple-red petioles.
• Once the wax sets in spring, the entire plant develops a purple tint.
• According to the breeder, the whole clump glows intensely purple in spring.
• Lavender flowers in mid to late summer.

The “Holar” hosta series was developed by breeder Ronny Van Keer, who lives in Hoeilaart, Belgium. Ho-Lar, an ancient name for the village, means “open place in the forest”.

Why Should I Grow It? The intense purple glow each spring.
