Geum coccineum 'Pumpkin Orange'

(Mature Size: 18"T x 15"W)

(NEW For 2027!)

• Compact, long-blooming perennial that brings vibrant color to the garden.
• This standout variety features fully double, pumpkin-orange flowers that appear in abundance from late spring through early summer.
• Its tidy, low-growing mound of foliage stays around 12-15 inches wide, while sturdy stems rise to 18-20 inches, making it perfect for borders, small gardens, and containers.
• The richly ruffled blooms attract pollinators, resist deer, and adds bold texture to mixed plantings.

Geum adapts well to both hot summers and cold winters without complaint. This species prefers moist soil with good drainage. In southern regions, protection from hot afternoon sun will improve the look and health of the foliage. Geum should be divided frequently; young or newly divided plants bloom longer and stronger than older ones. Deadheading will promote a longer flowering time and rebloom.
