• Its intricate, pincushion-like flowers are framed by distinctive bracts.
• It attracts pollinators, especially bees and butterflies, while resisting deer and rabbits.

An excellent woodland plant that thrives in moist, shady soil rich in organic matter. Ideal for shady perennial borders or naturalized areas, it blooms from early to late summer; regular deadheading encourages continuous flowering. The blooms also make excellent cut flowers.
