We want to share an important update about Hosta ‘Frog in My Throat’.

Issue with This Season’s Batch

The batch we received this spring did not develop the expected speckled leaves. Instead, the plants produced leaves that were mostly white with a green margin. We expected the speckling to appear as the season progressed, but it never did.

After contacting our supplier, it appears this is a known issue with this hosta. While the white-centered form of ‘Frog in My Throat’ is still attractive, it is not true to the variety as it should be.

Refund Information

Because of this, we have removed this hosta from our website and would like to offer a refund to any customer who purchased it from NH Hostas.
