• The blooms are white with purple spots.
• Toad lilys are very underused and one of our favorites for the shade garden.
• Tricrytis performs best in humus-rich, evenly moist soil in partial to full shade. It is very long-lived and easy to grow.
• It tends to be a late-riser, so don't worry if you don't see this plant coming up with other perennials in early spring. Your patience will be greatly rewarded.
• This species spreads to form wide clumps. Division is recommended every 3-4 years in spring to maintain vigor.
