• Lush green fronds emerge from a crown covered with shaggy cinnamon colored scales and form a symmetrical vase 2 to 3 feet tall. 
• This Asian import is wintergreen and quite adaptable being not only cold tolerant but heat tolerant as well. It is happiest in traditional woodland soil and light shade and a grouping brightens the gardens darker green areas.
