• Attractive hosta that has the best of both parents.
• Leaves are thick like H. 'Elegans' and glossy like H. 'Invincible'.
• I love leaves that have a rubber-like appearance.
• The thick glossy leaves emerge blue-green in spring but the blue quickly fades and the leaves are a dark metallic green.
• The leaves have prominent veining and a gentle waviness to the margin.
• Can handle some direct sun but I would not place this in a full sun area.
• Has better slug resistance than 'Invincible' but still not fully slug resistant.
• Pale lavender flowers appear in early summer and have a slight fragrance.

Why Should I Grow It? I really loved the leaves on this one this year (2019). Thick rubbery leaves have a unique dark color. Fragrant flowers!
