• Large reverse cupped leaves emerge with nice blue foliage in spring. The leaves are a shiny dark green color in summer.
• H. 'Blue Umbrellas' is a vigorous grower that has good sun tolerance and great slug resistance. 
• Even though it has decent sun tolerance, you will lose the blue very quickly when grown in sun.
• Pale lavender flowers appear in summer.
